Captain Dexios

Biography: Captain Dexios is the weary shield of Ephyra. A career soldier, he is loyal to the city, not the man sitting on the throne. He has watched Kestos corrupt the law for years, and his patience is fraying. He is a man of strict discipline, but he values honor above orders.
During the Maiden Voyage, he witnessed the party (specifically Vulpes and Elena) display power that terrified his men. Yet, he also saw them spare guards they could have slaughtered. This act of mercy earned his respect.
Current Intel: Dexios is currently running interference for the party, claiming they "escaped" his perimeter rather than admitting he let them go. If the Archon discovers this betrayal, Dexios’s life is forfeit. He represents the military might of Ephyra (winning him over is the key to a successful coup).
